Roles
- Owner: full company administration, including owner and administrator roles.
- Administrator: team and company settings, except protected owner/administrator changes.
- Engineering manager: broad engineering and approval workflow access.
- Engineer: create, run and export engineering work.
- Reviewer: read and review without engineering modification rights.
- Viewer: read-only access.
Private by default
New and existing organizations use invite_only. They are absent from the company directory until an owner or administrator changes the policy to Accept membership requests and supplies a public directory summary.
Two ways to add people
Private invitations are bound to the invited verified email and expire. Directory requests are initiated by a signed-in user and grant no access until approved. Approved requests always begin with the Engineer role; an owner can later change it using the team console.
Company management and request review require recent MFA. WellSim rechecks that assurance on the server; a browser field cannot claim it.
Platform administrators
A WellSim platform administrator is separate from every company role. Company owners cannot publish global help or manage another company, and platform status does not silently create company membership.
